Batasunising the future

photo_camera La II República fue fracaso que nos llevó a la Guerra incivil

The electoral campaign for Madrid is the first battle to batasunise Spain, 90 years after the Second Republic led us straight into an uncivil war, largely thanks to the sectarianism of socialists, communists, nationalists, radicals, anarchists, self-conscious monarchists, a resigned ecclesiastical right and intellectuals who supported it in the knowledge that it lacked any legitimacy. A Republic without republicans disguising a democracy without democrats.aregaladorodriguez.blogspot.com

"Luminous link"

I reread Stanley Payne, Paul Preston and Pío Moa. All three reveal the vanity of Don Niceto Alcalá-Zamora in collaboration with Miguel Maura; the intransigence of Manuel Azaña against the right, the coup d'état of Maciá and Campayns, the constant betrayal of the PNV to build a "Vaticanist Gibraltar" in the Basque Country; the ill health of Lerroux, the chaquetimo of Cambó, the shamelessness of Francisco Largo Caballero, the new Spanish Lenin - "there will be a soviet in Spain when Azaña falls"; Indalecio Prieto's complicity in the assassination of the head of the opposition leader Calvo Sotelo and in the theft of the Vita's treasures with the approval of the fanatical and avaricious Juan Negrín, who handed over the Bank of Spain's gold to Moscow without any receipt and was determined to prolong the war until the Second World War. In his later works, there also appear such second-rate characters as Casares Quiroga, Santiago Alba, Marcelino Domingo, Berenguer, Romanones, Martínez Barrio, Sánchez Guerra, Santiago Carrillo, Sanjurjo, Queipo de Llano, Ramón Franco, Ortega y Gasset, Marañón, Pérez de Ayala... All of them led us to collective suicide without listening to the sensible voices of the socialist Julián Besteiro and that of the monarchist and former Minister of Public Instruction, Juan de la Cierva.

Francisco Franco was not only a pro-Republican since the Pact of San Sebastián, but he also disciplinedly accepted that the Minister of War, Manuel Azaña, would close the Military Academy in Zaragoza, which he presided over, after warning his brother Ramón - a member of the Revolutionary Committee - in a letter that "the reasoned evolution of ideas and peoples, democratising themselves within the law, constitutes the true progress of the homeland, and any extremist and violent revolution will drag it into the most odious of tyrannies".

For all these reasons, listening to the President of the Government in the Lower House, omitting the murders, the burning of churches, the anti-Catholic Constitution and marking 14 April 31 as a key date in our history, I could not help but think that Pedro Sánchez has taken the direct baton from the communist Pablo Iglesias. The Popular Front moved from Galapagar to Moncloa with the same partners as then. The Second Republic was a failure and we cannot allow "that black hole in our history" to turn into a return to cainismo, coupism and the disintegration of Spain. The doctor described that time as a "luminous link" with our future. A soothsayer. A fortune teller and undocumented.

Panorama from the Bay

I write five minutes before the election campaign officially opens; it is only two years into the legislature. Elections provoked by the disloyalty of Ciudadanos, which -alone and in the company of others: PSOE and Podemos- tried to destabilise Murcia, CyL and the Community of Madrid. The motions of censure presented out of time by PSOE and Más Madrid (i.e. plus Podemos) and endorsed by "the oranges" forced Isabel Díaz Ayuso Ayuso to fulfil her duty: to defend freedom and avoid another Frankenstein government in Puerta del Sol. The coalition of separatists, socialists, communists, batasunos and anti-systems we have been suffering since the coup against Rajoy (2018) and the results are there: state of exception, curtailment of freedoms, attacks on Justice, kick in the door, lies, fear, singling out journalists who do not support the cause -Iglesias points the finger and the coalition government is silent-; control of television and the press, dismantling of the opposition, uncontrolled immigration, polarisation of public life, excessive spending, crony government, education against traditional values, Nazi feminism, dismantling of special education and vocational training, Celaá law to cover up school failure, illicit enrichment, irresponsibility in the pandemic, (we still don't know how many people have died of the coronavirus);  four million unemployed, the highest youth unemployment in the OECD (43%), hunger queues, desperate self-employed, 750. 000 workers in the ERTEs, a public RTVE in disarray, coup plotters waiting for a pardon to hit the state again with public money, a PNV ready to open the prisons to ETA members after the unworthy Marlasca brought them closer to the Basque Country and a Catalan Parliament ready to stress public life for a fugitive coup leader, until the referendum of self-determination and independence is achieved after setting fire to Barcelona, Girona, Lérida, Tarragona and Madrid. The picture from the information bridge is simple: Spain must be batasunised from north to south and from east to west.

Fighters

One of the ills that afflict us is that we are constantly campaigning for elections with these viceroyalties of Taifas. And the campaigns are very costly. The battles begin one minute after the polls open or, in the best of cases, on the day of the call, 54 days before going to the polling stations. Podemos and PSOE have already been reprimanded by the Electoral Board for advertising and raising money through social networks to gain an advantage. After Iglesias' rally in Vallecas, with chauffeur, limousine, bodyguard and his accepted request (after the cessation in the BOE) for the 5,316.42 euros per month -has he also requested the 20,000 euros that correspond to him for his loss of earnings as a deputy-, VOX wanted to explain its arguments in the Plaza de la Constitución. The Bukaneros, the violent ultra-left of Rayo Vallecano, were on the point of breaking the chrism of the demonstrators and wounded twenty civil guards because they received orders not to neutralise the "batasunos" but to drive them away without "lecheras" and without rubber balls. Did Sánchez condemn this left-wing hatred and his partner who instigated it after cleaning the scene of the crime with bleach? aregaladorodriguez.blogspot.com

No. Quite the opposite; he accused Santiago Abascal of going to Vallecas "to cause a row" and Pablo Casado of "causing a row" also in the Chamber of Deputies. That the leader of the second largest opposition party had to call the president of the Cortes directly so that she in turn could communicate the situation of lack of protection to the head of the Interior Ministry, confirms that this minister accused of prevarication by the Audiencia Nacional when dismissing Colonel López de los Cobos for "complying with the law", is as undesirable as a minister as he is as a judge. Unpresentable. Resign? He would lose his exercise bike that we taxpayers have paid for. He knows no decency.

The President of the Government offered him all his confidence... But this guy's confidence is worth less than his word. There is that complaint to Brussels by 2,500 judges who accuse the government of curtailing the rule of law and freedoms. It is the same government that "justifies" a posteriori with a judge more prevaricating than Marlasca himself that raiding a home without a court order is legal. What would the Honourable Corcuera say!

I want you to understand: in the 1930s, this was called the Carl Schmitt doctrine (1888-1985), which advocated that "the law must conform to the will of the Fürher".  From there to imposing enabling laws as in Venezuela is only one step. Because they have the majority.

Sánchez against the people of Madrid

This 2+2M campaign will be measured in a national key. Above all, because of the implication of the president who wants to bend not the president Díaz Ayuso but all the people of Madrid. The popular candidate has limited herself to selling facts; freedom, the Zendal, low taxes, not closing restaurants, demanding controls at Adolfo Suárez airport, creating jobs and mass vaccination, be it Russian or American if the European Medicines Agency (EMA) gives her the go-ahead. The weakness of the socialist candidate, Ángel Gabilondo, is so evident that not even lies can cheer him up in the morning. To say that, according to a Health report, in Madrid there is a 54% higher risk of dying from the coronavirus than in the rest of Spain is not an electoral lie: it is a canniness. Even Fernando Simón - who has not told the truth in 15 months - had to publicly deny that such a report existed and that, therefore, the information is false. Unbecoming of a professor of Metaphysics.  Not a vote for this assistant to Sixtus IV. If the PP appoints a guy like this - already willing to make a pact with Iglesias after Tezanos' trap poll - as Ombudsman, it is not to vote for Casado until the next century. Gabilondo has been humiliated by Montero and Sánchez's "fiscal coup", even though Nadia Calviño has come to the rescue. The offer to Reyes Maroto ratifies that he will surround himself with 4 or 5 other vice-presidents and an unbearable inflation of positions. In reality the real candidate is Sánchez with the sole objective of bending the will of the people of Madrid.

The procession goes inside

For yet another year Easter Week has left us confined. Once again we have lost the Fallas, the April Fair, the Fiestas of the glorious 2nd of May, the Sanfermines and... even the Pilarica. The hoteliers consider the summer to be lost. The procession goes inside. Hardly any cars are sold, which is the most reliable indicator for dreaming of recovery. The real economy opposes propaganda. Listening to the president, we live in Jauja. Vaccines - which are not arriving - are the panacea. And the 140 billion euros until 2026 "will change the future of new generations". Nine times he has sold the programme of Reconstruction, Resilience and Transformation, but he has not specified a single measure. Nor has he had any dialogue with anyone. He wants to hand them out as if it were the Andalusian farmhouse that gave the PSOE 40 years in power and a corruption only surpassed by the Pujols in Catalonia and the Ceausescus in Romania.  We have suffered 294 days of the last 420 nights as a visionary Caesar in a democratic exceptionality. Not a minute more.

It was a mistake to give him special powers for six months because he does not know what to do with them. And with this state of emergency he governs by decree as if they were enabling laws for subjects of a Bolivarian country. The deadline runs out on 9 May. He says he does not want to extend the deadlines, but he promised a year ago - and has not fulfilled it - to develop legislative tools so that the Autonomous Regions could continue to make progress in the fight against the coronavirus. Even Margarita Robles has just pointed out - "we are what we remember"- that "neither confinement nor perimetration" can be carried out without a reform of the Health Law because they affect fundamental rights. Has she promoted any law to avoid another coup in Catalonia after the demands of ERC, CUP and Junts? Yes. It will decriminalise disobedience to state institutions, especially the judiciary, so that this time the coup will be totally free this time, both politically and economically. The PNV, promoter of the idea in Congress, is delighted. Urcullu has been the first to beg Pedro Sánchez to remain in absolutist power. Manuel Azaña complained about the mediocrity of the politicians of his time. The man from Alcalá would tear his hair out when he saw the caliber of this ruling troop.

Voting in self-defence

European funds are an exceptional mechanism for a time of crisis. Knowing Moncloa's penchant for the "hispanisation of life" (wastefulness), he should start by reducing his government, the only one with four female vice-presidents in the whole world. It will not do so; nor will it reduce advisors or digitally placed cronies. Pedro (and Pablo) remain the same public danger to Spaniards. They will lead us to ruin with their propaganda policies of Producciones Redondo, S.A.

The changes requested by Brussels do not even refer to Inheritance, Donations and Patrimony for the simple reason that in most EU countries these taxes either do not exist or are subsidised as in Madrid. Tax harmonisation" will harm the middle classes, as always, and will benefit the Basques and Catalans, who will continue to pay for their independence in instalments. In this context we must visualise the proactive action of the Attorney General's Office before the TC so that Toni Cantó and Agustín Conde have not been able to present themselves as candidates on Ayuso's list. But let us remember that neither the Prosecutor General's Office nor the Constitutional Court lifted a finger to prevent the pro-coup leader and fugitive Puigdemond, who lives in Waterloo, from standing as required by law in the European elections and those of 14 February in Catalonia. Thank goodness they cannot (yet) prevent Cantó and Conde from giving rallies supporting the cause of the harassed Ayuso, patron saint of the Restoration and commerce.

When voting, don't forget the confinements forced by Illa to suffocate Madrid last year; don't forget Sánchez's disdain for Ayuso - for Madrileños in fact - by refusing to inaugurate the Zendal with the King and Queen; to the tax increases that await us with this troop of ineffective managers. And to the lie of the Colón photo. We Spaniards went there to tell Sánchez not to appoint an international rapporteur to negotiate with Torra and break up Spain.

La II República fue fracaso que nos llevó a la Guerra incivil

Governing Madrid is the first step to stop this social-communist Popular Front that last week humiliated Queen Letizia. Neither the president of the Congress, nor the president of the Senate, nor the vice-president Carmen Calvo were waiting for her on the steps of the Puerta de los Leones to celebrate a tribute to Clara Campoamor. A disgrace of protocol. And a lack of respect.

But, and with this I end, it is not only necessary to win by a wide margin; it is necessary to govern with a sufficient majority (PP+VOX+Cs) so that this victory is the lever that allows a clean and democratic changeover - not with the frauds of all the republican elections - in the Government of the Nation. It hurts us that Ciudadanos could be left out of the Madrid Assembly. If Podemos were to do so, we would all be winners. It already has more indictees than the Andalusian Eres. Enough of impostures. Más Madrid is a substitute for Unidas Podemos. And PSOE-M with Gabilondo is just a "Czech puppet" of Ferraz-Moncloa. Vote in freedom, because Madrid belongs to all of us! Vote in self-defence! I arrived here, at Príncipe Pío Station, on 8 April 1966. I have never felt like a stranger in Madrid. And no one has ever asked me where I came from. I still have my wooden suitcase so that I will never "forget the way back home".
