Expansion towards centrism

And then... along came Fidel. Pardon me, he suddenly appeared to us in mortal flesh - 55 days later - the president himself. "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1.14) He dwelt for a little while.  Don Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, from the top of the Palace steps, surfed the third wave (20. 000 dead in less than two months) and like Moses in the Sinai, he threatened us with his Ten Commandments, Ten Commandments that can be summed up in two: one) Blackmail Pablo Casado live and direct so that he votes for the candidates of UP for the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), De Prada and Rossel -two judges of dubious reputation- and two) Reject the uncivic conduct of King Juan Carlos I after paying 4.4 million euros for jet travel. That Jesús Puente, spokesman for the PSOE Executive, let himself be invited by a friend on his yacht, free of charge, seems very ethical to him. The ethics of the funnel. The truth is that this affair got in the way. Well done to the president for leaving Felipe VI out of it. It seems to be a preliminary step for the Emeritus to return home.

Farewell to bipartisanship

Forty-eight hours earlier, Pedro and Pablo, Pablo and Pedro, in the Congress of Deputies spoke of moderation; the socialist leader applauded Casado for distancing himself from the extreme right and the popular leader, after the failure in Catalonia, blessed by the Sanchist tsar, exploded and proposed "widening the space of moderation - the centre - to make it so big that both parties win". In other words, after selling the Genoa headquarters, he has taken out a ticket to travel back to bipartisanship. From Cánovas to Sagasta and from Sagasta to Cánovas. Mr Casado, Bolaños has fooled García Egea like a fool. First he tells him that the aforementioned judges proposed by Podemos will NOT go on the PSOE's list; they agree on the mess of the RTVE's Board of Directors to divide up the institutions, and then he tells him that Vice President Iglesias has come to the rescue of his boys and that Don Pedro can do nothing about it. This explains the presence of the tenant of La Moncloa - for which he pays nothing; Aznar declared 10% of his income to the Treasury - on this last Friday of February.  In short: the Justice appointments have been frozen "sine die". Casado claims that the veto is justified to avoid "revolving doors".

Weeks ago we wrote in these same pages that only Spain and Poland maintain this system of selection of members of the CGPJ that curtails the independence of the servants of the administration of justice. It is curious that Warsaw does so because it copied it from Spain on the pretext that its senior judges are communist (meaning Francoist) and complains that Madrid has not been reprimanded. It would have been enough to go back to the Constitution (art.122) as the limit of negotiation. And for the social-communist government to push through its urgent law with 176 MPs (½ +1) and not 210 (3/5).

It is hard to believe that both Sánchez and Casado in the last election campaign were in favour of returning to the spirit of the Magna Carta by annulling Felipe González's 1985 law. But the spectacle of politicians appointing judges to try politicians (immunity) is still as obscene as it was in 2012 when Ruiz Gallardón proposed it. If the PP gives in, it will have handed the majority of the Council to Sánchez and Montesquieu assassinated again. Let's go to the single party.

The world in flames

The demonstrations in Madrid lasted two nights. Freedom of expression has little to do with the throwing of paving stones at the police that resulted in several officers being injured. Selling the story that Pablo Rivadulla - a slacker all his life - was going to prison for singing an infectious rap is like believing that the petrol and cobblestone boys of Catalonia were not organised by CDR, CUP, ERC and Junts, so that Puigdemónt would force a repeat election until Aragonés said: "No more". The people have spoken. They are not going to leave their "life pension" in the hands of the coward from Waterloo. Hopefully the EP will lift his immunity and he will be extradited to Spain as a coup plotter. Barcelona, Gerona and Lerida, Tarrasa are still burning but not enough. The new Catalan government is dismantling the autonomous police while the shops on Paseo de Gracia are walled up Avila-style. What does the government delegate in Catalonia, Teresa Cunillera, say and do? She follows in the footsteps of her master: she neither says nor does anything. And the business gentlemen led by Sánchez Libre?  Not a single criticism of the young messengers of peace, just like the mayoress of Barcelona who does not dissociate herself from the looting "because we have to get to the bottom of the reasons for the disenchantment of the new Huns". And of the "others".  This "kale borroka" is a dress rehearsal with fireworks to find out who is in charge in the street and in Parliament. Do they expect a couple of recent deaths?  Barcelona has become Lebanon. An example of integration for the world.

The president of the government took three nights and four days to announce that this is no way to defend freedom of expression. Always the arsonist, but with a hosepipe. Of course, his priorities are simple: health (we have around 100,000 deaths due to the coronavirus), employment (almost 5 million unemployed, including the 3,000 at El Corte Inglés) and the "social shield" (just ask those who have not yet received the ERTES, the Minimum Living Wage and those who are disappointed because they have not fulfilled their commitments, such as ALS sufferers).

Atalayar_Inés ArrimadasOur champion president is not only the paradigm of moderation and centrism, but he is also never responsible for anything. The dead belong to each autonomy; in the Catalan coup "we all made mistakes". Now, he remains stubborn in the error (Romanones) and mistreats Inés Arrimadas in Congress, he laughs from the head of the blue bench for her recent disaster and threatens her with silence ("an iron curtain of information") for having supported the PP and allowing herself to be supported by VOX. That is the prize for having given him Caesarist power until 9 May.

Atalayar_Congreso de los Diputados

Ciudadanos offered him several state pacts (coronavirus, aid to SMEs, control of European funds) and hours later he despaired against the big ones. "PSOE and PP only unite to divide up the posts in the institutions". He is right, but the information cordon in RTVE is assured until 2026.  The PNV (RTVE and CGPJ) is the one that always gets the best advantage, while Marlasca complies and brings 5 ETA members to the Basque Country every Friday. And that's 155 in barely a year. Next month - in April at the latest - the Vitoria government will be granted the powers of Penitentiary Institutions. LLadoners is the way. The amnesty, the salary of "gudaris heroes" and the life pension for criminals are missing. Fuck the victims of ETA. Don Pedro came into the world with a loaf of bread under his arm. He came to power thanks to the twisted interpretation of judge de Prada and instigated by the prevaricator Garzón in the Gürtel case, corrected by the SC; he came to Moncloa via separatists, terrorists, communists and tides. That is its centrism. Sanchismo now wants to expand towards the centre by humiliating PP and Ciudadanos. If it gets the majority in the CGPJ, the die will be cast: totalitarianism will drag us down to the "rationing cards" and its power will reach into the darkness and beyond. Then, Mr. Casado, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 22:13).

After the last after

It has already been demonstrated that if the government had decreed the 24-hour confinement of 8M-20, 23,000 people would have been saved. Attending that demonstration due to Irene Montero's contagion cost "almost the life" of the president's wife, several family members, the vice-president's partner, the then Minister of Public Administration, Carolina Darías - today the head of Health, says that "it has no place" - and left Carmen Calvo touched. In barely a year, the Cabra native has gone from "our lives depend on it" to "life is more important". She must have read Tolstoy.

Atalayar_Manifestación 8m

As the social-communist government is insatiable and plays by all the rules, the president of the "no is no" is silent when passing by the Pilar -I mean La Moncloa-; the instigator of the "yes is yes", encourages the Women's Day rallies -although she will not go- and Echenique will be in the front line of fire with the unredeemed daughter of Ruiz-Jiménez. At the same time, José Manuel Franco Pardo, delegate of Sanchismo in Madrid confirms that he has authorised 45 demonstrations for that date with a maximum of 500 people. In other words: we cannot travel to see our relatives, we cannot celebrate anything with friends who are not living together, restaurateurs, bars and hotels have been closed and driven to ruin - a third of the establishments will not reopen their doors - and now it turns out that rallies of up to 500 people are allowed. Is that madness? No. It's all tied up and tied up tight to see if we burst. They know that we will hold out because we are a society under surveillance, threatened, and they know that with fear and hatred - only that which they can spare - you can't live.

After the last aftermath, Simon ("The Cyrenean") arrived and said: "There is more danger in the Easter steps than in the rallies of 8M-21". To this prophet of scientific lies (he knew about the contagion since February 2020), to this pleasing progre, to this false doctor, to this ungraceful pikey-progre, we will have to remind him that he was the first to assure that "here there will be one or two cases at most", the masks are useless, the experts advise...

"They don't just lie like Nixon, they invent permanent lies". There will always be a prosecutor Navajas, from Lola - Lola Delgado - to say that "nobody could foresee this catastrophe and, therefore, there is not and there will not be civil or political responsibilities to take these crooks to court".  Is there any greater irresponsibility? They treat us like cattle.

23 F: 40 years and four days...

I write this Bahia forty years and four days after that 23-F that left us with our souls in a fist and with the clear and courageous image of Adolfo Suárez and his vice-president Gutiérrez Mellado, sitting on the blue bench defying Tejero's machine guns. They put their lives on the line for democracy and for the homeland. A decade later, the President told me: "from the moment I arrived at the Moncloa, I assumed that my life was the target of the terrorists and of part of the army; that is why I did not bow my head. And I'll tell you more; the publicists wanted to use that image of the hemicycle while the rest of the deputies raised their heads above the seats... I always refused and I will always refuse. I did my duty and I was prepared for an extreme occasion like this".

I was delighted to hear Felipe VI quote the leader of the UCD and the CDS in his unique appearance before defending his father's actions on that memorable day when freedom and democracy were at stake. A democracy," stressed the Monarch, "built up over more than four decades, step by step and shoulder by shoulder". He stressed the responsibility, loyalty and commitment of Juan Carlos I to the Magna Carta - and called for unity and commitment of the citizens to the institutions.  The President of Congress was correct and warned against populism and polarisation. Minutes before, the enemies of the Homeland - by the way the supporters of Dr. Sánchez - signed a document plotting "to overthrow the Constitution and the Parliamentary Monarchy". And what did our undefeated socialist caudillo say? He said nothing.

Indignity without borders

In the chronicle of the last few hours we cannot fail to mention the 11,000 million euros that the President of the Government has pulled out of his hat - an International Congress of Magic is being held in the Price International Magic Congress is being held at the Price - to help SMEs. The figure is as improvised as the 200 billion to sustain the crisis with the (commendable) aim that "nobody is left by the wayside". The lie works, however far-fetched it may seem. So much so that the minister of the sector, Nadia Calviño, was unaware of the lie; just another lie like her press conferences, I mean, like her millstones. Now, Sánchez is demanding that the banks take on this risk with "write-offs". With these messages, who will want to invest in Spain? There are only two candidates: the Caracas-led narcos and Havana. We already know the commission agents.

It is already known that nothing will end until we are dead. But this government directed, presented, scripted and interpreted by Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón blames VOX, PP and Cs - in that order - for wanting to bring down his government while he praises Bildu, Junts, ERC and CUP. He believes he has the right to infect a people on the brink of the abyss with optimism - his public officials have reached 800 million euros for productivity in 2020 -; Sánchez does not widen the centre, he muddies it so that he can play without rules. He wants to be the new Narváez.

Atalayar_Nadia Calviño

At this point in the film, we must recognise that there is no one taller, smarter and more handsome (Margarita Robles dixit) than our beloved leader. The tragicomic thing is that he conveys "humility". And he has been fooling everyone all the time for 34 months. The problem is not the PP nor the famous podemite citizen of Galapagar - by the way: in Galapagar there are tortoises? - but Pedro Sánchez who runs our lives and finances and can at a stroke stop the rampages of Iglesias.  As colleague Javier Redondo rightly says, these are "tensions of fire". Sánchez is first and last responsible for all the ills that befall the rua. He has enough power to put out the flames in Catalonia; to count all the victims of the coronavirus - 12 Spaniards every hour; he has the power to sign major state pacts for health, for the economy, for water, for Europe, for immigration, for the countryside, for industry, for SMEs, for universities, for a consensual education law and a pact for science. And, of course, to agree on the independence of judges. Do judges want to be independent? You have never heard him propose anything at all. And then he complains about the lack of unity. The problem is not being together, Dr Sánchez; it is doing things together. And you don't want partners, only servants. Even to pardon the coup plotters and the criminal Hasél, the new idol of the young dictators skilled in the noble art of throwing paving stones.

Our president wants to conquer the centre from the extreme, extreme terrorist left to VOX. Indignity without borders. Pedro is no ordinary politician. He is also a scientist. And as Charles Darwin taught us, "he must have neither desires nor affections, a heart of stone is enough for him".
