Morocco: a thorn in the flesh of the "deep state" of the French Republic

It must be said openly: the campaign orchestrated by certain organisations in the Western orbit associated with the Algerian gas tap, and targeting Morocco, has taken off its mask; as have certain "international reports" made to order, and which aim to harass three Moroccan institutions, with the aim of directly affecting the Moroccan monarchy.

The targets are the armed forces, the police services and the judicial and penitentiary system. A concentration of targets that highlights an agenda inspired by the game of chess, with the ultimate goal of eliminating the King by destroying his strongest supporters, those that allow him immunity. This campaign aims to present a country "without order", doomed to anarchy and in a position to be subjected to tutelage!

This agenda is nothing more than a "libretto" shared by the military rulers of Algiers and certain offices of international organisations, designed a long time ago but which began to take shape in 2016. Let us look at the thread of events to understand what lies behind them.

In July 2016 Morocco took the historic decision to rejoin the African Union. King Mohammed VI announced it in a letter addressed to the 27th Summit of this organisation meeting in the Rwandan capital. Disoriented by Morocco's decision, Algeria and its acolytes in France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and other European countries wanted to intensify their intoxication against Morocco. Algeria, which had long benefited from the vacuum left by Morocco in the African Union, saw its theses threatened with death. For their part, the Europeans, especially the French, realised that Morocco's return would reduce their spheres of influence and were dissatisfied with the autonomy of decision expressed by the Moroccan kingdom in conflicts in which they believed they had exclusive control: Mali, Libya, Côte d'Ivoire, etc. .....

When Morocco officially joined the African Union on 30 January 2017 and launched symbolic initiatives such as King Mohammed VI's grand tour of several African countries in February 2017 (Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Zambia), the anger of hostile circles in the East and North intensified. A real 'media alert' was then declared in several European countries targeting Morocco, which was reflected in the first Guerguerate crisis (border crossing between Morocco and Mauritania) in April 2017, until Morocco showed its discontent and firmness.

When this piece of the plan failed, other, equally unsuccessful pieces were raised: the instrumentalisation of the Khmissa Association against violence against women; the use of Aminatu Haidar to legitimise the separatist armed struggle; the propagation of tendentious rumours about the illness of the King of Morocco; other rumours about Prince Mulay Rachid, or his relations with Crown Prince Mulay Hassan. We can also recall how the events of the Al Hoceima movement were amplified and instrumentalised, the manipulation and harbouring of fugitives from Moroccan justice in drug trafficking cases, and the use of misleading statements by people involved in shady affairs, such as the former captain Mustafa Adib, the radical Islamist Mohamed Hajib, the fake trader Ali Aarras, or the boxer Zakaria al Moumni.

Then there was the interception of the trucks at the Guerguerate terminal in 2020, the false information about the wiretapping of political figures and journalists.

In spite of all this, Morocco has resolutely pursued its course, and has firmly secured additional space to reinforce its historical and current positions.

This is what led to a strategic breakthrough in December 2020 with the recognition by the United States of the Moroccan status of the Sahara, in spite of a few buffoons and show-offs who, both at home and abroad, watched in amazement as the world's greatest power recognised Morocco's position, just at a time when Brexit was weakening the manoeuvres of European countries hostile to Morocco, especially France.

The French "Deep State" has returned to its favourite sport: the manipulation of its puppets in Germany, the Netherlands and Algeria, all in an attempt to confuse Morocco. But it has not succeeded, as Berlin and Madrid have returned to serenity with the formal recognition of Morocco's proposal for "advanced autonomy", so that the "Deep State" of the French Republic and the military in Algiers are becoming more isolated by the day. They will surely reap what they have sown.
