AESMIDE Forum 2021: "The recovery of economic activity"

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Spanish economy has grown by 17.5% year-on-year. For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the national productive fabric has registered a positive year-on-year growth rate. This dynamism will gradually allow the daily rate of activity and employment to recover. For this reason, on 2 December 2021, starting at 09:30 (CET), the Association of Companies Contracting with Public Administrations (AESMIDE) is holding the 14th edition of its traditional annual forum. 

Ponentes Foro AESMIDEThroughout the day, entitled 'The recovery of economic activity', the lines along which work is being done to promote economic recovery will be discussed: advances in digital transformation to cope with technological acceleration, the economic and financial measures implemented and the tools that are present in this transformation (Next Generation funds, public procurement and information).

The Forum is conceived as an exchange of information between speakers and the public, civil servants from central, regional and local government, civil and defence companies. Speakers during the day will include Carme Artigas Brugal, Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, Esperanza Casteleiro Llamazares, Secretary of State for Defence, Gerardo Sánchez Revenga, President of AESMIDE, María Isabel Valldecabres Ortiz, Director of the Fábrica Nacional de la Moneda y Timbre (FNMT), Cristina Herrero Sánchez, President of the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIREF) and Mario Garcés Sanagustín, Member of the PP in the Congress of Deputies.

On the other hand, a panel of experts will discuss 'The keys to transformation', with the participation of Jesús Manuel Gómez García, Undersecretary of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Julio Rilo Blanco, Director of Technology of INIXA of the Principality, Esperanza Teba Samblás, Director General of European Funds, and Juan Antonio Martínez Menéndez, Delegate Comptroller in the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. The forum will be hosted by journalist Roberto Arce.
