A stellar line-up of music is planned for the six-month duration of the World Expo

Arab megastar Kadim al-Sahir to raise the curtain on Infinite Nights shows at Expo Dubai 2020

A star-studded line-up of global and regional artists will headline Expo Dubai 2020, with Arabic singing sensation Kadim al-Sahir kicking off the spectacular Infinite Nights series on 15 October 2021.

Infinite Nights will thrill audiences both physically and digitally, uniting the world through the power of music with a host of celebrated artists performing live from Al-Wasl Plaza, with the concerts broadcast to a global audience.

These innovative 'phygital' show experiences, featuring cutting-edge entertainment technology, will see a number of world-class artists bring their unique energy, creativity, vision and values to the mega event, complementing the sub-themes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.

Al-Wasl Plaza, the beating heart of Expo Dubai 2020 and home to the world's largest 360-degree projection surface, will feature all the performances, while Expo ticket holders will also be able to watch the dazzling shows via giant screens at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre and Expo Jubilee Park.

One of the most successful artists in the history of the Arab world, 'Caesar of Arabic song', Kadim al-Sahir will fly the flag for the entire region. Celebrating the first ever Middle East, Africa and South Asia World Expo (MEASA), he will honour the rich legacy of Arab music under the sub-theme Expo 2020 Opportunity, inspiring future generations as he performs his greatest classical and pop hits. The programme will be featured on expo2020dubai.com, Expo TV on YouTube and will be available worldwide through multiple channels.

Infinite Nights will be held during Dubai World Expo 2020, which runs from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, and will welcome visitors to join in the creation of a new world through a six-month celebration of human creativity, innovation, progress and culture, where music will be present as a unifying and uplifting force.
