The Governor of the Bank of Spain, Pablo Hernández de Cos, and the Executive President of the CAF-Latin American Development Bank, Luis Carranza Ugarte, met yesterday at the central bank's headquarters in Madrid. This meeting follows the signing last August of an International Cooperation Agreement between the two bodies, which updates the one signed in May 2013.
The aim of this Agreement is to provide a general framework for joint collaboration which includes, among other cooperation modalities, the development of studies and research projects, the organisation of expert meetings and conferences, as well as the provision of technical assistance in areas of mutual interest. The Agreement will be concluded for a period of three years, renewable.
