The Foto Colectania Foundation, thanks to the main collaboration of the Banco Sabadell Foundation, presents the exhibition 'Face Control', produced by Foto Colectania and curated by Urs Stahel, on 2 December at 12:00 noon.

Face Control' brings together more than 20 artists, both established and emerging, whose works revolve around the bidirectional control that falls on the face: on the one hand, that which each person exercises over the way they want their face to be perceived, and on the other, that which the forces of power seek to exercise over our identity.

The exhibition brings together different approaches to the subject, from the work of renowned authors such as Diane Arbus, Thomas Ruff and Richard Hamilton, to the new creative practices resulting from the intersection with new technologies, such as those of Trevor Paglen, Broomberg & Chanarin and Shu Lea Cheang, as well as those of emerging artists and proposals taken directly from the internet and social networks.

The Foto Colectania Foundation is located in Passeig Picasso in Barcelona and the presentation event will be attended by Urs Stahel, the curator of the exhibition, and Mario Rotllant, president of the Foto Colectania Foundation.
