Zaha Hadid was the architect in charge of this great work, modern and technologically advanced, which is increasingly being provided with a symbolic character.

The Grand Theater of Rabat began its construction in 2010, near the Bu Regreg River, a few meters from the Hassan II Bridge, and less than 1 kilometer from the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower.

Considered the largest theater in the Arab world and Africa, it has an area of 47,000 square meters, capable of holding 1800 seats.

The Grand Theater of Rabat has an outdoor amphitheater with 7000 seats, a smaller theater, and a restaurant, among other areas.

The architecture of this theater reflects Hadid's style, through its undulating lines and curves, inspired by the previously mentioned river.

Despite having 47,000 square meters, 25,400 of them are usable. However, it will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 spectators.

By the end of this year, the theater will be joined by several restaurants and stores, as well as different attractions and recreational areas.
