Hamilton's great comeback and victory for Max Verstappen in Emilia Romagna GP at Imola

Second race of the season. After a rather disappointing qualifying for the Spaniards. The starting grid was with Hamilton on pole followed by a great Checo Perez. Next was Max Verstappen. 

Carlos Sainz eleventh and Alonso fifteenth.

Verstappen won the race, but the moral victor is Hamilton who after making a big mistake, something he usually does not do, climbed up to second place after having been ninth.

He had the luck of the champion as he was helped by a safety car. Despite ending up in the gravel. He managed to get the car out of the gravel, pitted and made a great comeback to second place.

Carlos Sainz finished fifth, improving on a qualifying practice that was pretty awful, and Alonso was 11th. He is not quite settled with the Alpine, although he is improving little by little.

The downside of the Grand Prix was the accident between Finnish driver Valerie Botas and Briton Russell. The latter rammed the Mercedes driver when he was about to overtake him at over 300 km/h. The Finn went a little wide. The Finn went a little wide to his right and caused the accident.

The judges ruled that Bottas did not change his line, but held his line leaving at least one car width. Neither car manoeuvred erratically.

The overall is led by Lewis Hamilton, followed by Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Bottas and Carlos Sainz. 

In principle, as expected, but the championship has only just begun.
