As of this October, the Instituto Cervantes in Marrakech will reopen its doors to students who wish to resume their Spanish classes in a safe environment, but without giving up face to face communication thanks to protective elements such as masks, in small groups (in rooms with 50% capacity, among other health measures) and in a relaxed atmosphere.

At the same time, the centre in Marrakech, as well as its annex in Agadir, offers distance learning courses for all those who wish to learn Spanish in a different, but equally effective, way from home. These courses, developed since last spring and with an excellent reception from the public resident in all corners of the country, are based on the combination of sessions by videoconference, the use of digital manuals and access to AVE Global, which is the Cervantes Institute's online platform for learning Spanish.

In addition, the centre has decided not to raise the prices of the previous year, equalling the prices of all morning, afternoon and evening courses, whether face-to-face or online, in both Marrakech and Agadir.

The autumn period is now underway, with courses starting on 13 October. Registration can be made either at the Marrakech Secretariat or online. Further information can be found on the website https://marrakech.cervantes.es/, Facebook (Instituto Cervantes de Marrakech) or by writing to adx1mar@cervantes.es .

As far as the cultural sphere is concerned, it is not yet possible to hold face-to-face activities; however, various conferences on the COVID-19 (psychology, medicine, economics, etc.) and flamenco recitals will soon be put online, all produced especially by the centres of the Moroccan Cervantes Institute for this current situation.
