Los Angeles Galaxy target Sergio Ramos for MLS move

The Spaniard could be heading to California, the US state where Beckham wants to take over Real Zaragoza

Sergio Ramos' arrival at PSG was never a great signing. A season in which the Parisian side only had eyes for Messi, Donnarumma, Wijnaldum and Hakimi took a back seat, as did the Sevilla centre-back. The coming weeks will mark a year since his first injury, which led to a series of physical problems from which he never recovered. In Paris, the conditions have not been the best either and the doctors who have treated him are not of his confidence.

Journalist Rubén Cañizares revealed that his stay in Paris is very complicated and that his relationship with Pochettino is not very good. The Spanish centre-back's appearances with his new team have been limited to two full games, two halves and just over 20 minutes. He has seen two yellow cards, one red card and scored one goal. These numbers make him a very unprofitable player for the club presided over by Nasser al-Khelaïfi.

With the doors of the Spanish national team practically closed by Luis Enrique and with a return to Spain impossible, the only thing left for him is Real Madrid, but Florentino Pérez is not going to allow the return of the former captain after securing his departure. Perez is not in favour of players who take so much relevance inside and outside the dressing room

According to journalist Santi Aouna, Los Angeles Galaxy have already contacted Sergio Ramos' entourage to present him with a proposal to sign for the Los Angeles club. In that team there is another Spaniard, midfielder Victor Vazquez and an old acquaintance of European football and of Ramos himself, the Mexican Chicharito Hernandez.

After his departure from Sevilla, the striker ended up at LA Galaxy in 2020 where he had his best season last year with 17 goals in 21 games

Ramos' contract expires in 2023, but the French club could facilitate his departure and even more so if his destination is not to reinforce another club in Europe. The MLS transfer window opens between 7 July and 4 August. If Ramos does not get any playing time at PSG and the doors to the World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year are definitively closed, he could head for California.

It remains to be seen whether the US league's strict salary system will allow him to join the franchise where David Beckham once played

The English player and businessman Jorge Mas told the first press conference of the season that "we are in initial talks to become owners of Real Zaragoza, a LaLiga SmartBank club".

The idea is that Inter Miami and the Spanish club will initiate the transfer of players between the two leagues to complete training processes. Germany is the European country that is most committed to the MLS product, but Beckham is well aware of the Spanish league and its worldwide impact on the development of players.
