Maroc IT Meetings, lugar de encuentro de los especialistas en Tecnologías de la Información
During the three days of the Maroc IT Meetings in Marrakech, the event will offer an exceptional framework for commercial exchanges to locate new service and solution providers in the field of Information Technology (IT). It is an event dedicated to professionals with the objective of promoting direct contact between exhibitors and decision-makers through specific and qualified "Business to Business" meetings prior to the event.
More than 200 IT decision-makers from large Moroccan companies and administrations will participate in the third edition of MIT. Infobip's executive director, Imane Rifki, praised the organisers' efforts to bring together Morocco's leading IT companies in a "promising" and "dedicated to IT" event. By organising B2B meetings, MIT provides "the opportunity to discover the best IT operators in the market," Rifki said.
The event focuses on Morocco's digitisation efforts and the government's ambitions to implement e-government solutions to facilitate administrative processes for citizens and residents in the future. While digitalisation seems to be a normal step in the country's development, the issue of data protection has been debated by lawmakers and the public. Despite the country's efforts to eradicate cyber attacks, there are still concerns about the country's cyber security preparedness, with some reports highlighting the country as one of the least secure in the world in terms of cyber security.
"After only two editions, this young, already promising IT event has already proven its worth. Its innovative concept seduced us, we are Infobip, a communication platform par excellence. Its originality: specific B2B meetings scheduled within the scope of the MIT that allow to identify and create new IT business opportunities, in addition to the event itself, which will be held in Marrakech from 15 to 17 November and will give the opportunity to discover the best IT operators on the market," said Imane Rifki, executive director of Infobip, quoted in the press release.
As main objectives, the meeting will present the importance of technologies in their relationship with "the cloud", cyber security, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and DevOps known as web development operations of computer systems. These topics will be discussed at different round tables over the three days of the event. The event aims to bring together publishers and IT solution providers with IT decision-makers in Morocco.
The profile of the invited speakers and decision-makers are: directors of Information Systems, Networks and Telecommunications, Digital Operations, Infrastructure and heads of Information Systems Security. In percentage terms, these speakers, in descending order, come from: 31% from government and ministerial administration, 22% from banks and investment funds, 19% from information services, 18% from industry, and 10% from IT companies.
The Moroccan kingdom's support for such technologies and its quest to attract the public transcends the economic to the human. The last day of the MIT will be awarded with trips valued at more than 2,500 euros to cities like Fez or Dubai and different prizes, which will be awarded based on the achievement of a series of points, which can be obtained from attending the event to registering on the platform. The prizes will be awarded during lunch.
