New information continues to emerge every day about Kylian Mbappé's expected decision regarding his immediate future following Real Madrid's interest in signing him. In the last few hours there have been reports in various media about the offer that Real Madrid could be preparing to sign the French international striker for this season and not wait until his contract expires in 2022 to sign him, but, according to Cadena SER, the player and Leonardo de Araújo, sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain, could have informed the Parisian team that the striker will remain at PSG this season.

According to reports in recent days, Kylian Mbappé has made it clear that he intends to leave PSG for the Spanish capital, but according to journalist Toño García on Cadena SER, despite the player's intention to move, he will have to stay in the French capital this year due to PSG's refusal to transfer him.

It may be a strategy by PSG to keep trying to convince him to renew his contract (the club's president, Qatar's Nasser al-Khelaifi, has already shown his firm intention to keep Mbappé), despite the fact that everything suggests that the striker wants to play for Real Madrid and that Florentino Pérez wants to sign the player.

Mbappé's situation has changed radically at his club. Before, he already had to share with Brazilian Neymar the fact that he was the team's top star and now, with the arrival of Argentine star Lionel Messi from Barcelona, his share of the limelight is totally reduced and that may have been a total trigger for possibly making the decision to leave the team definitively to go to Real Madrid. Meanwhile, many Madrid fans are yearning for a player of Mbappé's level to generate more excitement.

Everything now suggests that Kylian Mbappé is likely to join Real Madrid for free when his contract expires in 2022, although we will have to wait a year for that to happen.

Meanwhile, another name that has been linked to this operation is that of Cristiano Ronaldo. In recent days there had been much published about the possible return to Real Madrid of the Portuguese striker, possibly unhappy with the current situation at Juventus, but the Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said on social networks that there was no intention of signing the Portuguese star.

This opens up a scenario in which there is speculation that Kylian Mbappé will leave for Real Madrid on a free when his contract expires in 2022 and PSG's possible intention to fill that gap with Cristiano Ronaldo also arriving for free in Paris when his contractual ties with the Turin side come to an end.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo responded to reports that he had been linked with Real Madrid again. "I cannot allow them to continue playing with my name," said the Madeira-born player in a statement on his Instagram account. The player was this categorical in the face of speculation about his future.

The Portuguese player made it clear in his statement that his Real Madrid career is over, and showed the respect and love he has for the Madrid fans after nine years in which he has achieved "trophies, titles and records".
