Mediterranean Economic Leaders' Week (MedaWeek Barcelona) is today's iconic conference dedicated to promoting the Mediterranean region worldwide. This event supports the key economic sectors and cultural values of this region through a wide variety of forums.

MedaWeek Barcelona serves as the main meeting point for showcasing private sector interests in the socio-economic development of Mediterranean countries. Since its debut in 2006, and after fifteen years of success, MedaWeek Barcelona has been jointly organised by the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation, with the collaboration of leading Euro-Mediterranean organisations. ASCAME is today considered the most important representative of the Mediterranean private sector with collaborating entities from more than 23 countries that annually brings together more than 300 chambers of commerce that defend the interests of millions of companies in the region.
