The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is organizing, from 14 to 21 August, a Moroccan cultural and tourist week in the shopping centres of "El Corte Inglés" on the Costa del Sol.
El Corte Inglés will provide the ONMT with a space within the framework of the promotion of Morocco as a luxury tourist destination in each of the 3 shopping centres in the cities of Puerto Banus (14 and 15 August), Fuengirola (17 and 18 August) and Malaga (20 and 21 August).
This event, organized as part of the promotion of Morocco as a tourist destination, is held after the success of the Moroccan fortnight at the UTOPICA show in Madrid in June last year, according to a statement issued by the ONMT in Madrid.
The ONMT will decorate this week the spaces with the colors of the Kingdom, including artistic animations, a kaftan parade and a calligraphy workshop, among other promotional activities such as advertising panels and audiovisual projections to promote Morocco as a tourist destination.
In addition, by highlighting the various components of the Moroccan offer, customers of shopping centers, and potential travelers, may discover the rich heritage of the Kingdom, its culture, its lifestyle, its fashion, its cuisine and its tourism potential near Andalusia, especially in a context characterized by the choice of safe and nearby destinations.
