The selling price of several fuels fell at Afriquia stations in Casablanca. A litre of diesel now stands at around 1.4 euros (14.89 DH), thus registering a decrease of 64 cents per litre, while petrol has dropped by about eleven cents (1.18 DH) to stand at 1.46 euros (15.43 DH) per litre.

But not all fuel stations have recorded this reduction in the price of their fuels, unlike Afriquia, the other distributors that supply fuel to the Casablanca region have maintained their values, although these will be equalised in the coming days.

The main reason for this fall in prices is the drop in the price of oil on the international market for two weeks, with a barrel of Brent North Sea crude oil trading on Saturday at 104 dollars, while a barrel of American West Texas crude was at 98.30 dollars, much lower than it was just a month ago.
