On the occasion of the first anniversary of its Founding Congress, the Sahrawi Movement for Peace (MSP) organised a meeting in the city of El-Ayoune, Sakia El-Hamra. Hundreds of activists, supporters and guests attended the commemorative event during which numerous interventions and speeches took place in the framework of a high-level political debate.

Members of the Political Directorate, human rights activists and observers paraded on the speakers' rostrum to highlight the importance of the event and to outline the achievements of the first year of the MSP's existence. The strong implantation of the new political force among the Saharawi population both inside and outside the territory was emphasised, as well as its actions abroad and its projection in the media.
