Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía participates in the International Defence Fair IDEX in Abu Dhabi
Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía, deepening its commercial strategy of internationalisation of its products and services, is once again participating in the International Defence Exhibition IDEX 2023, which celebrates its 30th edition from 20 to 24 February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The Spanish technology multinational will be present as a member of the Spanish Pavilion (Hall 2 - Stand B-18) organised by the Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE).
IDEX has become the benchmark fair for the defence sector in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). This fair showcases the latest technologies in the sector, making it a unique platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, companies and Armed Forces from countries across the region.
The Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía stand will have a demonstration area with organic elements of SIMTAR, the new Artillery Simulation Centre that will provide the UAE Armed Forces with a capacity that they did not have until now, since thanks to the new virtual simulator they will be able to train a group (battalion) of artillery, training its integration with the manoeuvre unit and reaching brigade level.
In addition, it will offer a sample of its wide range of Optronic Systems, which are complete surveillance systems that can be integrated into Command and Control, C4I, networks, as combined with radars and other advanced sensors, they allow the collection of vital information in real time. Among them, the new ORISON cameras within the Castor camera family (HD, HR) will be highlighted, which, thanks to their great versatility, can be used in all types of applications integrated in stabilised or gyro-stabilised 2- and 4-axis platforms.
At the exhibition, the Spanish multinational will also share its developments in tactical communications solutions. Its encrypted communications systems and tactical links have allowed Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía to win several international tenders against the biggest competitors in the sector, as its tactical link processors, Multi Link LINPRO, have become a reference in this field and are currently in operation both in the Spanish Armed Forces and in the navies and land forces of several countries (Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Bangladesh, Sweden, Bulgaria, Japan, etc.).
Grupo Oesía will also be present with its brands Cipherbit, UAV Navigation and Inster. Cipherbit-Grupo Oesía is the first Spanish brand specially dedicated to Cybersecurity and defence with the development of secure communications products (encryption), certified by the CCN and NATO.
