Students will be able to access keys to understanding the current reality of the Arab world

The Three Cultures Foundation offers the activity 'Introductory course to Arabic culture and language'

Los alumnos podrán acceder a claves para comprender la realidad actual del mundo árabe

Through this course, organised by the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation in collaboration with Loyola Idiomas of Loyola University, students will obtain the necessary keys to understand the current reality of the Arab world.

The main objectives of this course are to acquire a global vision of the main historical and cultural milestones of the Arab-Islamic world, which are essential to understand its current reality and the accumulation of factors that, broadly speaking, have given rise to it. At the same time, the importance of certain cultural aspects, which are absolutely essential in social or work relations with people from the Arab world, is also taken into account.

Among others, to acquire some basic notions of the Arabic language in order to lay the foundations for long-term learning and to be able to interact in a simple way in common life situations. At the same time, to arouse interest in the Arabic language and culture so that students feel the stimulus to broaden their knowledge on their own, whether it be for professional, academic or personal purposes.

It is aimed at anyone who is interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in this subject.
The online course is 12 hours and starts on Friday 16 April 2021, with a tuition fee of €90.

Sessions:
Friday 16 and 30 April from 10am to 1pm.
Fridays 7, 14 and 21 May from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
