Once again, the Three Cultures Foundation and Loyola Idiomas of Loyola University are jointly organising the third edition of this online introductory course in Arabic language and culture.

Through this course, students will obtain the necessary keys to understand the current reality of the Arab world. The main objectives of the course are to acquire a global vision of the main historical and cultural milestones of the Arab-Islamic world, essential to understand its present reality and the accumulation of factors that, broadly speaking, have given rise to it. At the same time, the importance of certain cultural aspects, which are absolutely essential in social or working relations with people from the Arab world, is made clear.

Among others, to acquire some basic notions of the Arabic language in order to lay the foundations for long-term learning and to be able to interact in a simple way in common life situations. At the same time, to arouse interest in the Arabic language and culture so that students feel the stimulus to broaden their knowledge on their own, whether it be for professional, academic or personal purposes.
