The Three Cultures Foundation promotes the training of Moroccan women workers

The Three Cultures Foundation, within the framework of the IntegrARTE project, diversifies and expands its training offer and makes it reach several municipalities of Huelva, Spain, with a high presence of seasonal workers of Moroccan origin. 

Once again, thanks to the collaboration of the Ministry Delegate in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs of the Government of Morocco and within the framework of the aforementioned project, training courses in Spanish as a foreign language ELE2 and workshops on occupational risk prevention and the acquisition of basic digital skills are offered especially to Moroccan women seasonal workers in the area of Huelva. 

The classes, which began in mid-February, will end on June 30. Specifically, in 2021 the following courses will be given in the Huelva municipalities of Almonte, Cartaya, Lepe, Moguer, San Bartolomé de la Torre and Villanueva de los Castillejos: These include: 10 courses of 600 teaching hours of training in Spanish as a foreign language ELE2, 10 workshops on occupational risk prevention of 330 teaching hours and 10 of basic digital skills of 200 teaching hours. 

In addition, a transversal workshop on COVID-19 prevention awareness has been incorporated as a novelty. 

With these trainings, the Three Cultures Foundation continues the line of work in improving the conditions of seasonal workers of Moroccan origin, providing them with the necessary knowledge of the Spanish language so that they can function autonomously in their daily lives, preventing the occurrence of injuries and their consequences for health and, finally, providing them with the necessary knowledge for the responsible and safe use of ICTs that are present in their daily lives.
