In Zahedan, capital of Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, regime authorities flew over the city with military helicopters to instil fear among residents ahead of tomorrow's protests. Additional checkpoints have also been set up in different parts of the city.

In the western Iranian city of Izeh, regime authorities sent a large number of security units to block a road leading to the site where residents had planned a ceremony for Mahmoud Ahmadi, killed by the mullahs' security forces during the recent protests. Those who were able to attend the ceremony held up pictures of Ahmadi and chanted anti-regime slogans, including "Death to Khamenei! Damn Khomeini!"
On Tuesday evening, residents of Tehran's Punak, Shahran and Narmak districts, the Molla Sadra area and several districts in the west of the capital began chanting anti-regime slogans directed specifically against Khamenei and the entire mullah apparatus. These slogans included:

On Monday and Thursday, people in Iran's capital Tehran and in Karaj could also be seen in different neighbourhoods chanting anti-regime slogans at night, a sign that popular sentiment against the ruling dictatorship is deep-seated and persistent.
Iran's resistance units launched a series of 17 different activities against the mullahs' regime in cities across the country on Tuesday 24 January. The targets were centres in Tehran and Eslamshahr used by the mullahs to promote the mullahs' ideology of hatred, misogyny and fundamentalism, the IRGC's Basij paramilitary bases in the cities of Qom, Karaj, Mashhad, Shiraz, Kerman, Hamedan, Qazvin, and Shush, the burning of posters of Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini in the cities of Saravan, Langarud and Sarpole Zahab, and the burning of posters of former IRGC Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani in the cities of Kashmar, Karaj and Tehran.

On Tuesday, in Bampour in the same province, residents clashed with state security forces in a confrontation in which a major and a third lieutenant were killed and a sergeant major was injured.
In Sardasht, north-western Iran, three brothers were hospitalised after being shot by IRGC units early in the morning.
Relatives of the death row inmates gathered on Wednesday evening outside Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, west of Tehran, to protest and demand information about their relatives. Reports indicate that three inmates have recently been transferred to solitary confinement for execution.Also on Sunday, in Tehran, relatives of death row inmates rallied outside the regime's judicial building to protest against death sentences and demand answers from regime officials.
