Spain is angry

photo_camera contendor-ardiendo

While Cadiz burns, the Government sends tanks to the metal workers - (they are workers, not criminals) -, what it did not do with the insurgents who burn Barcelona when they feel like it. This weekend, Madrid will host all the Police in Puerta del Sol to say Enough is enough! to the defencelessness in which the State Security Forces and Corps - and, of course, the Army - are left - if it goes ahead -; and the new law on Citizen Insecurity will come out with the support of PSOE, UP, ERC, Bildu, Teruel Existe, JustxCat, Más País, CUP and Mareas from all corners of the PCE. Objective: to dismantle and discourage the National Police, the Civil Guard, the GEOS, the UME, the regional and local police forces, and by absence and silence, it will contribute to the neutralisation of the Army in case of crisis.

The dismantled police

It is a law without agreement with those affected, which will leave officers unarmed and allow criminals, drug traffickers, arms dealers, migrants, squatters and terrorists to have more rights than the defenders of legality.  It is the loss of authority as has been done in public schools with teachers; it has a single purpose: to demolish democratic institutions, delegitimise the Magna Carta and carry out a bloodless coup d'état without the need for tanks.

Three details: the police will not be able to prepare riot control devices in advance as it is not compulsory to report demonstrations; rubber bullets will be banned and, furthermore, the agents will have two hours to identify those arrested, who will also have to be returned to their place of demonstration. In other words, it will be a taxi or Uber police. The agents are an easy target because they won't be able to record the aggressions either. Go ahead, barbarians, violent and anti-system!

It is the policy of Sánchez&associates to win the civil war they lost in 39 and to continue with the same philosophy: that the right will never govern because they will change the rules of the game in the middle of the match. They want to bury the Transition, the best period of our history and of our lives. "Coexistence was possible", we read on the tombstone of the tombstone in the cathedral of Ávila, where the architect of change, President Adolfo Suárez, rests.

This Executive of irresponsible people will first ruin us and then try again to break up Spain, the unfinished business of Largo Caballero and Manuel Azaña. Two unpresentable politicians.  Creating ignoramuses who will pass the course with failing grades - Mao started it in '49 - is another excellent way to cheat PISA and lower the statistics of school failure; but this leads to a society of new young people who abominate the culture of effort and responsibility. This is the model defended by this never-ending government with 23 ministries and the 24th entrusted to the Attorney General of the State, repressor of prosecutors not addicted to the cause (the prevaricating judge Baltasar Garzón as instigator) who, with the State Attorney's Office, the new Court of Auditors, the Ombudsman - the unpresentable Gabilondo - and the Constitutional Court, will from now on give their blessing to all the outrages of this government, which has been condemned three times by the High Court (states of alarm, decrees, neglect of duties during the pandemic, disempowerment of Congress and the Senate and, most recently, a conviction for electoral crimes for using the Spanish government's electoral fraudulence as an excuse for the government's use of the Spanish electoral system): conviction for electoral crimes for using the Moncloa as a television support for the last campaigns. President Sánchez has paid 2,420 euros to the PP, which denounced the outrage, and must pay another 2,000 euros to the Electoral Board. Surely he is not paying for it out of his own pocket.

A president who copies and pastes his doctoral thesis, who deliberately lies - "I will never negotiate with Bildu, do you want me to repeat it twenty times?"-, is already preparing pacts to unseat the PNV in Euskadi and support Aragonés and Puigdemont (at the same time) in Catalonia so that he can remain in the Falcon and attend concerts, weddings and PSOE congresses. Everything is an official secret in these high-flying trips. It is a pity that our Penal Code does not include economic and political disqualification. Because this is a clear case: "I would do it again", says the president, like Junqueras and Otegui.

It would not be venturesome to think - God willing I am wrong - that once the ESF has been destroyed, the CDR, the Comandos de Defensa de Euskal Herria, that is, the new ETA and other paramilitary and governmental SS encouraged by Minister Marlaska will be authorised to impose a totalitarian regime with enabling laws, a justice with a "gender perspective" that pardons criminals like Juana Rivas and the 1-O coup plotters and that ends up inoculating more hatred to the half of Spain that detests these impostors.

They only need to storm the General Council of the Judiciary. Casado has already surrendered for a couple of seats. If this government is capable of holding out for two years, it is possible that it could last until 2030. Or 2050. Even if the Finance Minister is unable to ask for the funds that await us in Europe (some 35 billion) outside those of the Next Generation. And on top of that, they have Franco as an alibi.

The streets will burn

The Law of Citizen Insecurity goes hand in hand with the repeal of the Amnesty Law -poor Marcelino Camacho who defended it in the Cortes- because our maximum leader has promised -and this he will fulfil- to recognise as "victims of the Transition the ETA members killed in police confrontations and to prosecute the Ukrainian governors who fought to bring democracy". It seems that the enquiries will stop at Felipe González (1982) to overlook the creation of the GAL. Minister Martín Villa would be the biggest "prey" of Podemos' Pitbull Terrier.

While the Cumbre Vieja volcano ruins the people of Palma, the PGE 22 does not contemplate a single euro, beyond the 230 million emergency funds that never arrive. More than 1,000 hectares occupied by lava flows, 5,000 earthquakes, 1,000 million in damages and 7,200 life projects at a standstill. Despair mounts as a handful of environmentalists blame climate change. But, the volcano's ashes cloud us all: pensioners, truck drivers, hairdressers, farmers and ranchers. A litre of milk is cheaper than a litre of water.  Almost the whole of Spain is pissed off with leaders who, with all that is happening, are only trying to change the name of the Valley of the Fallen to the Valley of Cuelgamuros. And to raise their salaries.  Only PP and Cs voted against. Manda Trillos, my friend Federico!

As if this governmental mess were not enough, Minister Díaz - who has not gone to Cádiz, naturally - has agreed with the ruthless unions, CCOO and UGT (13 million euros in compensation) a labour reform that the Employers cannot accept in these times of crisis. What they are trying to do is to return to sectoral agreements without taking into account the reality of SMEs and the self-employed. This is suicide. At the same time, the Minister of Inclusion, J.L. Escrivá, excludes the Toledo Pact and employers from the pensions problem, to whom he is foisting an additional 0.6% increase in social security contributions - and 0.1% for workers - to patch up future pensions. Work until you are 72?

The CEOE will denounce in Brussels that these guys are not capable of making the accounts fit; instead, they impose a "tightening of accounts". As the figures in the PGE are false in their forecasts, it is only a matter of approving the items because next year and the year after, and the year after that, they can be extended. In short: Sánchez needs Otegui and ERC as strategic partners to whitewash his murders, get the prisoners out on the streets and blur the coup d'état of the 17th.

The PP and its inner ghosts

The most serious thing in Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo's book, 'Politicamente indeseable', is Casado's private confession to her: "I have delegated all my powers to Teodoro". Unbelievable. That explains the lack of responsibility of a guy who won a congress after Rajoy's collapse. And the lack of leadership. From his itinerant (and very expensive) congress that culminated in Valencia, we can only draw one conclusion: he is a candidate for the general elections without convictions.

The attacks on Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who has revived the party and brought about reconciliation and hope among the Popular Party throughout Spain, make no sense. Her spectacular results have awakened an alternative that did not exist before 4 March. To deny her the right to run for president of his own party in Madrid-Comunidad, when she is still under a management team from the turbulent times of Cifuentes, is a nonsense, which has counted on the complicit silence of Mayor José Luis Martínez Almeida. Delaying the congress when the regional and local elections are only 17 months away sounds like collective suicide. It cannot be understood. And even less so when Pablo Casado wants to reach La Moncloa.

Boycotting Ayuso? Pissing off Moreno Bonilla who has broken the Andalusian Conclave in Granada? It seems that he knows little about photovoltaic and solar energy, but even less about strategy and convictions in conservative and liberal ideas. Not to mention music, when he assures that in his "choir" there should be no soloists. What a conductor! That Teodoro is a puppet is well known; that he is the one leading the party is a mistake, a huge mistake. For examples: Murcia, Granada and the division of the party in Seville. The "coup d'état" conspiracy has only one explanation: insecurity. Lack of personality. The attacks on VOX, on which his political future will depend, are another nonsense from the leader of the opposition.  A modest suggestion for the tenant of Genova 13: don't cut yourself off. Surround yourself with the best. And while you're at it, do what Macron did: go for fifth-generation nuclear mini-reactors, which are cheap, safe and can make use of their radioactive waste. Do you want to continue to depend on Algerian gas - with a dead end in Morocco - and French atomic energy? To win, you have to take risks.

Juanma Moreno has run out of discourse and electoral programme. If he wants to fly high, he has no choice but to call elections before the PSOE reconquers its hegemony of four decades of corruption with unbeatable results. And acquittals on the verge of boosting its past.  If Casado distrusts Isabel and Cayetana, it is because he has learned nothing after 20 years in politics. Waiting for Sánchez to wear down would be foolhardy. He is a guy with no convictions, no principles, no word: once upon a time he was glued to a Falcon... To claim that he gets on well with the socialist leader is to ignore the fact that he is swallowing the bait. When he has taken the one about the renewal of the CGPJ, he will then understand what Yunior García says about the dictator Díaz Canel: "There is only one power here; that of the single party".

A week of rain

In this week of rain, the threat of the truckers, the abandonment of the countryside, the demands of the hairdressers, the rise in inflation, the costs of electricity and gas - Pedro will not deliver either that consumers will pay the same in energy bills as in '18 - will set the pace of the street. Taxpayers are painfully sick of being governed by incompetent ministers led by a compulsive liar president. He does explain in English that he "always delivers what he promises and that the opposition makes a lot of noise".

The anger of the FSE and the different legal sensibilities in the TSJs of the Autonomous Regions - the government has still not brought a Pandemic Law to Congress - confirms that we are in the worst hands at the worst time. A leader who wants to govern a country does not dedicate himself to digging up the past, he strives to build a better future.

Dispersing the organisations outside Madrid (minister Isabel Rodríguez); cutting up the museums and making 300,000 civil servants out of civil servants (Iceta); teachers -never decent- (Yolanda), the Council of State's blow to the Minister of Education for removing remedial exams in ESO; the Law of Insecurity = more violence (Marlaska); support for the tyrannies of Venezuela (Zapatero, prince, judge and party, always with Maduro and supporting the ex-ambassador Morodo; "dear gazelle", he writes in his own handwriting to Delcy Rodríguez on Embassy letterhead; silence on the repression in Cuba (Echenique and Albares) and rewriting of the Transition (Bolaños), Financing of Unidas Podemos with papers from Pollo Carvajal... And the forty suitcases of "Ábalos", without appearing.
A desolate panorama of our social-communist government and the parties that support it, driven (still) by the inertia of Francoism.

Meanwhile, the PSOE's partners want to strip the King of his title and honours... And Sánchez is silent today and tomorrow, he will concede.  We Spaniards are pissed off. If we want change, let's vote differently next time. Let's vote freedom and transparency; let's vote ethics and austerity. We are up to our necks in state secrets. Let's take to the streets this Saturday! We have plenty of reasons for discontent.  It is not that we are against Dr Sánchez, which we are; it is that he is against all of us.
