The Moroccan government announced late Thursday the reopening as of February 7, 2022 of airspace for flights to and from Morocco.

This decision comes in accordance with the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency and following the recommendations of the scientific and technical commission and taking into account the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom, the government specifies in a statement.

To accompany the implementation of this decision, a technical commission is currently examining the measures to be taken at border posts and the conditions required for travelers, which will be announced at a later date, the same source indicates.

In reiterating its appeal to citizens to continue to strictly respect all preventive measures and the directives of the public authorities in this regard, the government invites them to promptly supply themselves with the planned doses and to complete the vaccination schedule, especially the third dose, as a behavior reflecting "national solidarity" to face this pandemic.
