"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses every week the current issues on the international scene.

The programme will address the 50% increase in European Union aid to Morocco to manage migratory flows and will also deal with the fires in neighbouring Algeria that have already left nearly 40 people dead.

Enrique Becerra, administrator of Initium Cerámicas, will talk about the important opportunities that Morocco offers for Spanish businessmen and explain how to do business and the legal security that exists in the North African country.

The crisis that the United States is going through due to the controversy surrounding former president Donald Trump will also be the subject of debate in the microphones of "De cara al mundo". A judge must decide whether to make public the reasons behind the search of Trump's mansion, while the FBI seeks to protect its witnesses from being harassed by supporters of the former US president. There will also be talk of how US congressmen have visited Taiwan in the midst of the crisis with China over the territory's sovereignty.

The war in Ukraine will again feature in the programme. There has been a new attack on an air base in Crimea and the meeting of the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey, and António Guterres, secretary general of the UN, to seek a way out of the Russian invasion and to demand Russia's withdrawal from Zaporiyia. The expert international analyst Lucas Martín will shed light on these issues and will also explain the destruction of the Wagner Group's headquarters in the Donbas, the arrival of the three Russian Mig-31s with hypersonic missiles in Kaliningrad and France's rejection of the gas pipeline from Spain to Central Europe.

As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, and José María Peredo, professor of Communication and International Relations at the European University of Madrid, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will discuss the course of the war in Ukraine, the confrontation between the United States and China over Taiwan with the visit of US congressmen to Taiwanese territory, the controversy surrounding Donald Trump in the United States and the involvement of the FBI and the European Union's aid to Morocco in managing the migration issue.

"De cara al mundo", Friday 19 August from 22:05 to 23:00.
