Senegal's Sadio Mané, Egypt's Mohamed Salah, Morocco's Achraf Hakimi and Algeria's Riyad Mahrez are undoubtedly among the best African players today. The first two have won the Champions League with Liverpool, while the other two have made a name for themselves in European football after a major stint with Real Madrid, and the other has won several African national team titles with Manchester City.

This situation has been endorsed in the list offered by the 90 Minutes website. This digital media has published a list of the 50 best current players on the African continent and the two players from Liverpool, Inter Milan and Manchester City are at the top of the list. The first place is for the striker from Senegal, one of the stars of the English Liverpool, the current European champion.

Mané is followed by Salah, Achraf and Mahrez. The Egyptian, the other shining star of the Anfield team, is ahead of the Moroccan and the Algerian in this classification. The list is dominated by several African players who play in the English Premier League; they dominate the top 10, as seven of the top places are for them, followed by three players from the Italian Calcio.

According to the website's assessment, Salah is in second place directly behind Mané; while the Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly, a Napoli defender, is in third, followed by Gabon's Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, an Arsenal striker, and Morocco's Achraf Hakimi, a Real Madrid canterano signed by Inter Milan, who is in fifth place.

Riyad Mahrez is in sixth place, followed by Nigeria's Wilfred Ndidi, a Leicester City midfielder, in seventh, and Arsenal's Ivorian winger Nicolas Pépé in eighth. In ninth place is Liverpool's Naby Keita from Ghana, followed by Naples' Victor Osimhen from Nigeria in tenth place.
