During the month of September, the European Days of Jewish Culture are held in more than 30 countries, with the aim of raising awareness of the cultural and historical heritage of the Jewish people. It is a joint initiative of the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture (AEPJ), the European Council of Jewish Communities, B'nai B'rith Europe and the Network of Spanish Jewish Quarters.

The enhancement of the value of the Jewish legacy in its cultural and historical dimension is one of the objectives that we at the Three Cultures Foundation consider essential. For this reason, we are dedicating a large part of our September programme to Sepharad.

Within the framework of this cycle, on Thursday 15th, we will have the performance of Sephardica, a musical project dedicated to the music of the Sephardic tradition.

The repertoire of this group is a compilation of the most beautiful preserved music, performed as it was played in the olden days and with historical instruments: adufes, rabeles, lutes, guitars, psalteries, virginal... Love songs, romances and lullabies that still survive and have been passed down from generation to generation over the centuries.

Admission is free with prior registration on the website of the Three Cultures Foundation.

The activity is funded by Seville City Council as part of the "Seville, land of diversity" programme.
